How To Measure For A Custom Made Bench Cushion

No skill is required to measure up for a bench cushion, it’s simply.

  1. Measure the length of the space where the cushion will go to the nearest cm. Example: if it is 1604mm round to 160cm or if it’s 1608mm make it 161cm
  2. Measure the width of the space to the nearest cm    
  3. Confirm how thick you would like the cushion.

Pro Tip: 5 – 7cm is the most popular thickness. If 160cm or less in length make it 5cm if over 160cm you may wish to make it 7cm.

  • STEP 3: CHOOSE YOUR FILLS

    Please select your filling.

    This is a no brainer, we don’t charge extra for quick drying foam so we’d suggest you pick it. Regular foam
    tends to go mouldy if it gets wet and isn’t in the sunlight. Quick drying foam is open cell foam allows the water
    to pass through quickly.

    Furniture Foam: High density comfortable furniture foam for alfresco or indoor cushions.
    Quick Dry Foam: Quick dry outdoor foam for an all-weather cushion.

  • STEP 4: CHOOSE YOUR TIES

    Please select whether you would like ties or not.

    Some cushions don’t need ties like a scatter cushion round cushion. Bench cushion on the other had should have ties to secure the custom bench cushion. Should you make the ench cushions longer we can arrange this on special request.
