There are many fabrics you can make your custom made cushions from, however there are only a few you should use. Our cushions are made from Olefin. Don’t take our word for it do a Google search is Olefin good for outdoor cushions. Olefin is very durable and softer to touch than Sunbrella that can be more coarse.

Most companies and upholsters that offer custom made cushions don’t stock fabric, they simply get your order then contact the local fabric wholesaler, in turn the wholesaler will ship the fabric to the cushion maker. This is great as it enables the company to offer you hundreds if not thousands of colours however this means you the consumer are paying more and waiting longer for your custom made cushions. In comparison The Cushion Company isn’t getting the fabric from the local wholesaler, instead we get our fabric from the same manufactures the wholesaler does, removing the added expense of the middleman. Although it takes up a lot of space in our factory we hold 25 fabrics in stock all year round ready to make your cushions. This means we can make your cushions faster and offer you a better price.

All the fabric on the website was professional photographed to ensure it provides a clear indication of the colour in real life, however it will appear different from one to screen to another. To be 100% sure we recommend ordering up to 5 free fabric samples. We also offer a comprehensive sample pack. It contains samples of every fabric and the cushion inner ( thickness of your choice ) this is $69 including delivery.
